HRH William and Kate's Fly past 29 April 2011

William and Kate stand on the balcony, Kiss and the cheer of the crowd is drowned out by the sound of 6 Rolls Royce Merlin Engines from A Spitfire, a Hurricane and a Lancaster Bomber as they fly over Buckingham Palace as part of the Royal wedding celebrations. followed by maybe a bigger cheer

They were followed by the more modern Typhoon and Tornado jets but after they left you can still hear the Merlin's in the sky above London

Makes you proud to be British

You should be proud. The flyover was magnificent. All I could think of was the history connected with those beautiful aircraft. The entire event was lovely, I'm sure. But the fly past was very moving.

My grandad flew in a Lancaster Bomber in WWII. Makes me very proud to see such an historic aircraft flying over London.
