My little Rat Tonks drinking my coffee!

Haha. Tonks explores my computer desk, and decides to drink my coffee, chew on my work, and crawl all over me. She's so cute.
Her full name is obviously; Nymphadora Tonks - like the character from Harry Potter, and like the books - I just call her Tonks.

My tonks is lovely, and bursting with personality. Shes absolutely hilarious :] and quite attatched to me

Mine got into an espresso I'd left on their (open) cage once.They got so wired and groomed lke maniacs.I wish caffeine still had that effect on me.

I have two male Dumbos... She reminds me of my little Loui... Whereas Elroy prefers to snuggle down the back of my dressing gown or up my sleeves, Lou will try and get into EVERYTHING. Such a little explorer.

I have two male rats, Roscoe (Ross) and Nicodemus (Nic), but while Ross loves being picked up and cuddled, and likes to climb up and sit on my shoulder and nibble my hair or something while I'm drawing or on the computer, but Nic, who I've had for nearly as long and is actually Ross's brother, both obtained from the same place with only about two days between their purchases, Nic acts like he's terrified of being touched and if I try to pick him up he will start crying. What can I do?

I really miss having rats for pets. They really are so much fun to have, and so easy to look after!

I would like to know why everyone is sooooo repulsed by these. I remember buying mice (I know, not rats) from the pet shop and releasing them in McDonalds just to see people run in HORROR! I felt terrible though. The box the pet shop would put the mice in would say "I Have A New Home! Somebody Loves Me"... I have always been a bleeding heart for everything.
