Ja wenn Du das Video via VLC dann abspielen willst siehst du nur schwarz .... spiel es mal via MPEG StreamClip ab bzw zieh es in dein Schnitt Progi ( zB Premiere) .

I'm having trouble installing the codec Avid DNXHD. I've downloaded it from avid's website and used the install procedure but the codec doesn't show up in any software converters or editing programs.
Is there a problem with my system? (64bit Windows 7) or....? Can anyone help me please?

Hmm no should run under Win 7 .... the Codec should show up if u Choose mov > Codec : Avid
Means *.mov is the Container and Avid DNxHD is the Video Codec ....

nach dem umwandeln habe ich einen grauschleier über meinen videos.. woran liegt das ?

Ist normal liegt an Avid selbst ( FarbCodec) kannst aber wieder anheben via ColorGrading ist quasi nicht schlimm Film ne FarbKarte und pass dann die Farben einmal wieder an und speicher dir das als Aktion
