Prototype 2 - Xbox 360

Em Prototype 2, os jogadores voltarão a uma Nova York devastada por um vírus mortal. O game da Radical Entertainment tem o mundo aberto como seu principal destaque, e conta com duas linhas a serem seguidas: a história principal e as missões paralelas, que ampliam a experiência e prometem prender o jogador à frente da TV pelo menos por algum tempo.

Na trama, o soldado James Heller retorna do Iraque e encontra sua cidade e família dizimados pelo vírus Blacklight. Na tentativa de se suicidar e matar pelo menos alguns mutantes no processo, ele é socorrido por Alex Mercer, protagonista do primeiro game, e acaba ganhando os mesmos poderes do personagem. Em vez de agradecer a seu salvador, Heller o culpa pela infecção da cidade e parte em seu encalço.

Desta vez, o mundo aberto do game será revelado aos poucos e exigirá um pouco mais de exploração por parte dos jogadores. A sequência de Prototype também não conta com um modo multiplayer, e concentra a atenção dos jogadores apenas no modo single player.

The story is similar to number 1, kill your creator..... except there's a big black guy

From what ive read, Heller thinks mercer is in control of the infected, and thus blames mercer, but throughout the game he figures out mercer is very much against the infected. Heller was origionally (according to Alex's plans) going to be Alex's lieutenant. So, I doubt that by the end of the game mercer is your enemey. That doesn't necesarily make him your friend.

Technically not. One of the newest videos implies that the current outbreak is a different one. The Manhattan Outbreak is the one from P1. And the new one is being called the Mercer Outbreak. And if Zeus is the cause, then it really is his fault.
