Now a bit of fun. A demonstration of how to shoot a film un-professionally, using an iPhone as the camera :-)
Every summer in Damerham, a small village in the south of England, lords and and ladies, gentlemen and children get together for the Damerham Grand Prix. The normally quiet countryside around the borders of Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire comes alive with shrieks and squeals as part of a major new sporting event... Pig Racing!
You know an event has truly reached major-league status when the commentator is none other than the BBC veteran and Formula 1's favourite pundit, Murray Walker, who needs no introduction to the racing fan. In this short video Murray is showing us why he is the best racing commentator there is whether you race Formula 1 cars or pigs.
The shrieks are from the spectators and the squeals by the competitors.
Filmed on location with iPhone 3GS.
