AUDI A4 NOISE PROBLEM

This is a 19 month old AUDI A4 with an annoying noise, that has been reviews at the dealer and the outcome it is that the noise it is normal, and the car performance at manufacture's design.

Mmmmm don't think AUDI thinks this noise is normal.....

oh thank you for you comment, I am glad you got it fixed, the noise in mine comes and goes, I am waiting until it comes louder so I can take it again. It seems to be louder in the mornings when the car is cold. thank you!!!

I had the same noise and it was the tension pulley for the fan belt. Sucks, had to take the front bumper off to DIY it. Noise gone for 2 years.

mine had that noise. this is what the dealer did to fix it under warranty:

45359 TIMING BELT ROLLER NOISY.. VERIFIED SQUEAK NOISE. FOUND NOISE IS COMING FROM BEHIND TIMING BELT COVER. REMOVED THE LOWER TIMING BELT ROLLER BEARING. REMOVED TIMING BELT AND INSTALLED NEW LOWER ROLLER. TESTED AND NOISE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED.
