(on a Schacht Ladybug) I'm a new spinner (May 2009 - thanks to Beth at The Spinning Loft in Howell, Michigan!). The first time I tried to change my bobbin, I was a little nervous. I looked for a youtube video to show me how but there wasn't one. Now there is. :)

  • It was so nice of you to show this. I was petrified when trying to figure out how to do this.

  • @Beamerri Wonderful!! I'm so glad it helped. :)

  • THANK YOU. I just got a new matchless and the whorl was stuck on. I was afraid to break anything. It's all good now.

  • I just realized that in the video I indicate that if you forget to put the scotch tension band back onto the bobbin before screwing the flyer back in that you have to take the whole flyer out. That's not actually true! You can just unscrew the scotch tension screw and lace it over.

I just find it easier to do the way I show in the video.
