  • please, this radio can work also in a 27 mhz? thank you.....dario

  • @crylo2000 After owning an Icom 746-Pro for over a year and switching to the TS2000, I can whole-heartedly recommend the TS2000 for many reasons.

    1) It as a noise blaker that works! The NB in the 746 is usless. I have also heard this from many others.

    2) It has 432. Great band if you want to play there!

    3) It has a built in TCXO. No $90 accessory to buy.

    4) It works wonderfully on sattilites.

    5) The very narrow CW filters ring far less. Even the 50hz filter is usable!

  • @w3tua The TS2000 tx audio, equilization, bandwidth, processing, opposite sideband supression, etc etc are all done in the digital domain! So, it certainly does have DSP on tx! You can even widen out the TX audio to 4khz by using software updates.

On Page 17 of the Service manual it says that these functions are done in the AF stages, however, on page 23, it goes into great detail about how the DSP processors handle all of those functions.

  • Great looking rig. I am debating between buying the Icom 746 pro and the Kenwood TS-2000. They are both great rigs, but being a newer ham I can only judge them from what I read. Can anyone give their opinions on which radio they think is the better and more reliable of the two rigs? Thanks.

  • não bastava ser português ainda é gago

  • It has a TX equalizer but no 'DSP' on transmit.

  • Well done..

  • Hello, fellows!

I would like you excuse me because I don't understand your language, and I would like to ask you a thing: Does TS-2000 has DSP in TX mode too, or only in RX? Thank you for your reply, and congratulations for the nice video.
