@larrynealwaxmuseum I have always loved BOTH sides if this old 45, hard to believe it was ever number one any where,but I'm glad it was. I won a copy of "Handy Man" as the best male "beatnik" at a dance in the 60's!! How time flies!!...thank you for commenting.

Always did like this instrumental by F. & T. Would you believe that for the week of January 14, 1960 this record was number one here in OKC on our local top 40 radio station. Number two was Jimmy Jones' HANDY MAN. A few months before
they started charting nationally. Good Post.

ferrante & teicher, i spoke with these wonderful folk's, and they reproduced a cd 'love is a soft touch' for me because i loved and found the # 8 ' is that all there is' song fitting for my wonderful age.
