Robot Hand with personality and a fishy sense

At Intel Developer forum Justin Rattner talked about robots in the next 40 years and how they will become more personal and understanding (and get out of the manufacturing floor). This robot hand uses electric field pre-touch to grab an apple and hand it to someone. It can sense and feel humans and objects before it actually touches them (same sense that fish use!). When a person touches the apple, it can sense that and lets go.
