nice cougar man i'm restoring one myself Also from 71 ,but not an XR7 I'mm still having doubts about the color .... Just need a new door and then repaint it and my cougar's ready ! What color is this ? name ,code ? Greets Upload some more vids :p Love the sound what kind of engine?

The color is called "Goldenrod". That is the factory paint on the car, o I am not sure of the paint code. It is a 351 Cleveland. This is actually a 46,000 original mile car. I am only the 2nd owner. Other than the wheels and dual exhaust, there are not a lot of modifications made to this car.

@machone7I It shares the Mustang body until the 1974 1/2 model when Mercury moved it to the Montego platform to match the Ford Torino Elite.

i wanna rebuild my dads one... its a 1971 or 72 cougar xr7 and i gotta change alot of interior and stuff... sorta sucks but hey at the end its worth it cause teh engine is still fine.
