Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama moved to claim the mantle of fiscal responsibility in a roiling economy, vowing on Monday to slash federal spending on contractors by 10 percent and saving $40 billion. (Sept. 22)

Remeber this speach in 2 years when he cuts nothing and adds trillons of dollars of spending. Dems like to think that Bill Clinton was the end all. He did this. He did that. He balanced the budget. Blah blah blah. Remember correctly that spending was so out of control in 1994 that the democrats lost majority in both houses of Congress for the first time since the great depression. After that we had Gov't shut downs and balanced budgets because of balance and a strong congress. Now we are not.

Obama 2012 budget has rise in US aid to Israel

The budget proposes $3.075 billion in US military aid for Israel, $75 million more than in fiscal year 2011. The aid proposal is based on the US-Israeli understandings signed on August 16, 2007. US military aid is set to increase by a further $25 million to $3.1 billion in fiscal year 2013, and remain at that level through 2018, assuming that the US foreign aid program remains as is.

..it's amazing watching these older videos as Obama told us exactly what the people wanted to hear. The uncertainty of it is he told us countless lies and promises that he intentionally fabricated while boasting about being completely transparent and letting the American people know exactly whats going on, sad to say that Obama is the most secretive president we ever had and the mainstream media is prohibited to tell us the truth. regret: this is HORRIBLE. NO ONE should have to vote for someone because they want to be part of the famous moment. Voting should be done on POLICIES. If you like obama's policies, then by all means vote for him. If you vote for him because he has a pretty face SCREW YOU. the obama phenomenon as you called it shouldnt exist
