Just a few highlights from our wedding last summer, 2009. Weddings in Japan are a blast -- the shrine part (not shown since video cameras weren't allowed) was fantastic. However, the price tag on Japanese weddings is not so much fun! It seems like anything and everything has a price tag of $500: "oh, do you want to rent a fake bouquet? 5 man yen please. Bring your own cake? That will be a 5 man yen charge."

But I digress... it was a terrific wedding and will be a great memory for a lifetime.

Ok I couldn't wait, watching the video now. being a bit of a girl and getting emotional at the messages home, loving the different outfits, just laughed my ass off at the man sized portion of cake, more outfits!!! That can have been cheap!!! Aww the cocktail matches the dress, and she downed the lot haha is that tradition or does she just like a tiple? Wow go Matt's dad with the Japanese!!

@RyanfaeScotland Thanks for the comments! I think we were all just as shocked when Misato pounded back that cocktail! I thought she would sip it, say it was nice, and put it aside... lol. She later explained that although there was tons of food and drink around, that was the first time she had a chance to drink anything and was parched. Anyway, a classic moment hehe.

Aww!!! Zen Me Ban was a good choice for this video! (but isnt that a chinese song?) Oh well, it fits the happy mood perfectly! :) You wedding was absolutly beautiful! ^_^

@Asabasgurl That's right, it is Taiwanese. We fell in love with a Taiwanese drama called, "Hana Kimi". Well, it was a Japanese manga, and later a Japanese drama, but the Taiwanese version is even better. Have you checked it out? Ella Chen is hilarious.
