yeah thats true i thought you were doing a pullover and did a giant. sweet! What do giants do to help with pole vaulting? i'm a gymnast and a pole vaulter and i've never heard of a connection.

Doing a giant from a swing isn't too hard. I was told to do it like that by our gym coach. As for a connection, pole vault is basically gymnastics once you leave the ground. And the bottom end of a giant is pretty much like the rock back. And then for the final reason, they are fun to do and relatively easy to do if you have the right set up. Thanks for the comment.

Wow! I am an ex-gymnast, an ex-pole vaulter, and a currect gymnastics coach, and I'm really impressed with the fact that you can do a giants like that (little free-pullover into them)! You are really strong... most people have to start from casts!

Thanks, when I first started to learn giants a couple years ago I couldn't swing very well, my timing was all off, so he wanted me to learn how to swing into a giant. Not too hard, but not something I could just go and do, I need to be in relatively good gymnastic shape. Thanks for the comment.
