THIS IS MY PROJECT FOR COLLEGE.
I made this solely for the purposes of my college class to better help my knowledge and understanding of filming and editing.
And for the free use of Alex Hamel.
~
I recommend you watch it in 720p HD.
Select 720p from the pop up menu.
Then pause the video and allow it to load if your connection isn't brilliant.

At college we were given the task of interviewing someone.
Specifically someone within the industry of music.
Immediately Alex sprung to mind.
Alex and I go back a couple of years. We met at school in Athens, Greece.
Occasionally we hung out during lunch breaks and had the odd conversation in the corridors. Often Alex would be practicing his Capoeira.
Anyway, I contacted Alex on facebook and before I realized it I was on a bus down to Richmond to film Alex.
It was hot and the sun was out. Which equals to perfect lighting conditions.
~
Filmed at Richmond University on the Nikon D90 w/ Nikkor 35mm f1.8
~
The song is "Painkiller Island" by Alex Hamel

  • @StarziaProductions As always Zoe I take into consideration everything you tell me (: Thanks for the awesome advice and constructive criticism. I filmed this using a Nikon D90. Ebay is good to find them at a good price too. Can find them between £500 and £700 inc. a lens. They use SD cards for storage, so digital storage, not tapes. Im sorta cheeky though. I think we're only allowed to use college cameras. But I can't take them out... But yeah :D See ya later hah

  • picture quality is GREAT dude seriously what cam u got again n how much it cost roughly? x im going to seriously consider getting on like it, tapes or digital storage though? x

one slight critisism, the lighting seems to bop about a bit, you could of corrected it a bit by cutting and using the colour corrector or chroma key or if u have a big umbrella or something over where ur shooting so the sunlight isnt too much of an issue when ur filmming x overall though well done as allways :) x
