This is such BULL! I KNOw you're not a smoker and the kind of person who'd break up a family, just because someone smoked. RIGHT? Isn't throwing out a kid's dad better than to have him around as a real Dad for kids, than to have a woman live with 3 or 4 kids raised by a Mom who has to work?

You've got some weird ideas about what LEGAL is and what ILLEGAL IS! It is still legal to smoke, it's NOT to TAX SAN REPRESENTATION.

I bet, you're going to live forever UR a non-smoker right???

@qpop2007 WOW! What a fantastic idea! Can we get any attorneys to sue the govt. for unfair taxation without representation? I know I'd donate $ for this. It's about time smokers start speaking up. It always bothered me to see these people, standing out in the cold, doing something that's legal. I love UR idea. LET'S NAIL THE GOVT!

THIS HASN'T BEEN FAIR SINCE THE STUPID AND LYING STUDIES THAT CAN'T BE FOUND OR PROVEN, HAVE COME OUT. I'd LOVE to read all these 2nd hand smoke studies. They're like those Gothic Novels...they're all made of of old studies about people with previous heart disease and Diabetes. The smoking was a last thought to add on, so the govt. can tax one group higher than another.

Dont give them any ideas. Theyre likely to raise the tax on coffee as well. In all my years, Ive never known them to retract a tax on tobacco. We'd end up having to pay out of the butt for both.

I wish smokers could sue the government over this unfair taxation without representation. The federal gov, state gov, county gov, and city gov all taxing tobacco products and it only affects smokers.  what will they tax when the number of smokers decreases ..... Joggers Tax, tax joggers for jogging on the public sidewalks.................

Its unfair taxation. why can't we get a class lawsuit togeather to sue the goverment.

A can of tops roll up in PA. went from 9.50 a can to 22.50 a can. This Cigarette tax on a can of Tops Tobacco is out of control. And you (zrobb500) instruct me not to be angry at Obama. Are you nutz? This tax is because Obama is in office.

i'm addicted to cigarettes. and also am mad low on money. but u kno what? great. the cigarette tax dont bother me. i sing and i need to quit smoking and have been on and off for months now. maybe finaly i wont be able to afford them. all they do is kill people. DONT HATE ON OBAMA FOR TRYING TO SAVE LIVES. THEREFORE, THOSE WHO HATE HIM FOR THIS ARE JUST BEING SELFISH
