Armada 2526 continues the great tradition of space opera games. You guide your race from its first interstellar journeys, until it becomes a mighty galactic empire. Although the game is complex, and the possible strategies endless, powerful help and advisor features help you get up to speed quickly. Unlike many games in this genre, Armada 2526 boasts a streamlined play system, providing games that can be finished in a reasonable time, and emphasizes battle and strategy over economic micro-management.

How the fuck is this game clasified as a action adventure game when its clearly a space combat sim or a strategy or a mix of these two

lol it may be streamlined but after playing it for two days now have to say it is NOT simplistic. The computer is very very cunning and WILL use espionage( thru trade and even scouts) its an awesome game . the one resentment i do have is that actual combat in no way shows up like in the trailers or other videos . its a top down view mostly . this may be okay as well since excessivley pretty battles ( as in SOTW) does not mean good AI . The AI in this game is great it knows how to retreat and win

@blackyblacknblackier Nope, completely different game by different developers and publishers and completely unrelated except in that it is sci-fi and has the name Armada. Armada 2526 is a spiritual sequel to the game Armada 2525, /watch?v=MwpH8yxT7AY and also, this game is a 4X game like Civilization, not a space-shooter.

@ShafikMahkat the diplomacy of sins of a solar empire is very poor though, its more like C&C generals in space, great battles but not much else. this game looks more comprehensive.
