@ltootle84 Thats not it, i know what it is. He wrote this song while he was out in Nevada, on a long road trip. There was nothing around. Not a thing in sight. But then there was this one lonely road sign that said "Zzyzx Rd." Its basically about him being alone, in the middle of nowhere and taking orders from people he doesnt want to. Etc etc etc.

The song is about Corey quitting alcohol. So if your boyfriend thought of you while hearing this there might be a connection.

@prettygirlsindaroom In a literal sense, it seems like a guy out to prove himself joins the military, then regrets putting himself in that position. Just my personal opinion.
