Cleveland Bays: two young horses lunging together

Two 2 yr old Cleveland Bays, colt and gelding by Wetherby Barry Crump.
Flynn was not supposed to be in the arena at the time, he was wandering around and volunteered to keep his brother Absinth (colt) company as he was being lunged.

i have two CB crosses and they r so cheeky, stubborn, energeitic at times when i don't expect it. They r very ineresting, challenging also. but i love them! never change them 4 the world. I bred mine from a stallion called (whitehouse statesman) grand son 2 Mulgrave supreme bred and owned by the HMS Queen.

yes they are great horses - uniform in their physical structure and abilities but each one is so much of an indivdual with so much personality

CBs are some of the smartest and wisest warmbloods I've ever known! No, Wander was the senior stallion at Forbes Farm in NC. Wendy Forbes owned him, and I worked for her for a few years. I'm going to try to find her email to send your video to her - the way your boys stayed right together is phenomenal!

Is Wendy Forbes the lady who moved to the States from Australia and brought her CBs with her? I think i heard good things about her and her horses.

Yes, that's her. She gets picked to judge the King George V cup, which you can see at (well, can't send a url, evidently, but Google will get you to a short video of her judging).

She's just a wonderful horsewoman, and a terrific person. It was an honor to work for her for two and a half years - I learned something new every day, as they say. She's pretty much out of business now, but her son, Aaron Forbes, still shows and trains horses she bred.

Dont you just love the Cleveland Bay Horses! They are so intelligent! Reminds me of my gelding I had when I was in my teens.
