Me and my sister watched this so much growing up. We knew and still know most every word. My sister would recite this sermon while we were watching it..

I read the Jonathan Edwards essay this is based on, years after becoming a fan of the movie. I was reading it and thinking, "Gee, this sounds familiar!"
