    yeah we have this system on out herringbone parlor, high yeilders generally get 0.6kg of dairy cake while stales would only get 0.2 ect

  • It could be possible that the feed concentrate given in the parlor is just factored into the overall ration. They do that with the Robotic Milking, where Cows get an indevidual portion of concentrate, and are thus fed less of it in the TMR. That allows high producing cows to get more of the expensive concentrate than lesser producing cows. If the parlor is equiped to recognize which cow is in which stall of the rotary parlor, then the ration could be sized appropriately to the cow.

  • im not 100% sure but i think they only get like a little mouth full so it wont affect their dietary needs, or milk production or anything like that, its just a little bit of sweet filler

  • can you regulate the amount of feed per cow???
