  • Bill was a big fan of jazz drummers - there's a lot of jazz style in his playing, especially on the first albums. To dismiss Bill as just a "basher" is not only untrue but kinda sad too, because if you can't hear his jazz influences you probably haven't listened very well.

  • I had the honor to hang out with him for 2 years. He is my radio teacher best friend and i have to say he is the coolest most down to earth person ive have ever met . for being a rockstar he drives a shitty ass 87 toyota corolla lol but damn hes is fucking bad ass. Always giving me words of inspiration. Bill Ward Forever

  • Genuine Geezer. Next best after Buddy Rich for me!

  • Why don't Thay re-release vol 4 and the others?

  • I hope Thay re-release all the other 5 sabbath CDs

  • Would Bill write a book next?

  • lol he's my stepdads cousin, i know none of you will probably believe me

  • @6ace6frehley6 Are you out of your mind? No way in hell was Bill Ward the superior to John Bonham! Bill Ward is a legend, but next to Bonzo, good golly. Just watch Bonham's "Moby Dick" solo at London's Royal Albert Hall from January 1970.

  • Bill Ward is the only Sabbath member who looks old.

  • He particularly loves, "Iron Man".

  • I love Bill. Seriously under rated musician.

I love watching and listening to Bill's playing in the early Sabbath years, his energy and commitment were inspiring.

Funny part (of many) in Ozzy's book where he says Bill brought his own cans of cider on to Concord because, "He didn't want to put them to any bother" haha how nice is he?

Our "Baby Lou" is 4 - he listens to Black Sabbath, asks for it to be turned up louder, and head bangs instinctively - Sabbath is for future generations.
