We know what MMA is and your right it's usefull to know ANY, and i mean ANY discipline going into a "streetfight" or a ring / cage. Knowledge and experience are everything in a fight. All of these BJJ moves are useful given effective setup and implementation. Same goes for standup fighting like boxing or Karate. I don't think there is a single move from any martial art that I've learned that I haven't found to be useful in a fight. Those of you bashing individual styles are just clueless keyboard warriors who probably never fought before in your lives.

It's amazing how many mouthboxers we're getting here... for once is a voice of reason (thanks to dflynchimp).
I've said before techniques don't win fights - its a fighter's ability to employ a technique effectively in the context match/fight/brawl that makes a technique 'good' or 'crap' NOT the technique itself.
A technique means jackshit if you can't employ it in a pressure situation with a resisting opponent.
