Released on the 1959 album, "100 Strings and Joni". Written by Sammy Fain and Irving Kahal. The song was a hit for Tommy Dorsey in 1938, and an even bigger hit for the Andrews Sisters in 1949.

  • Nice, but clearly she wasn't at her best for this session.

  • This is nice, but I think I like the Skyliners' version with Janet Vogel Rapp singing lead better. It's more up-tempo

  • My dad sang this. I didn't think joni sang it

  • her singing talent seems very minimal to me. very thin and monotone voice.

  • Thank you so much for posting Joni James. She's one of the best female vocalists EVER!

  • Her husband's conducting the orchestra

with its beautiful lush string sound

and Joni's voice blend to make this

one of her best recordings ever.
