@gbanks70 Yeah, the sugarcube, know it well, been on top of that a few times in my youth.... and I remember once a mate climbed on top of it, and got a little bit scared, couldent get a decent footing to get back down, and was up there for ages...a great place, been back a few times since,and still am amazed at the views,a real magic place.....

@kerednotsobig1 Hello kered. I used to hang out at dovestones all the time in the 70s. We used to call that big square rock "the sugarcube". It was always a challenge to climb it without a mate giving you a "peg up". All the best to you.

Man...what a place that is....amazing. I first camped there about 32 years ago...back in 1977, brilliant, we camped at the bottom near that massive square rock, woke up in the morning surrounded by loads of sheep ha ha ha
