Using the DSi Browser

I beat my Wireless Router with a wrench until it works nicely with my DS/DSi. After that I go to the online store to redeem a guaranteed 1000 DS points and download the Browser. Once I have the browser I go wild on the internet. Wewt!

Note: the Browser is ran by Opera. It cannot support Java or Flash content so Youtube clips/online MMORPGs are out of the question.

u were on the RuneScape site, but can you actually PLAY the game? or is it a Wii type thing again. I have WPA so i cant really use internet which is why im looking up these videos on what the browser can do and stuff :P

@starfrost94 Play the game - no. Access to everything else - yes.

It's still possible to connect through even the most stubborn WPAs. Just fiddle around with the Search for/Test Connection and enter info. The only way to not get connected is by having a VPN (public wifi spots will have these).

@thepaolomunar That question made me wonder, so I gave it a try. Yes, Twitter can be accessed and can be updated and the like. I just updated my status a few minutes ago, in fact....

@warana2 Yes and no. You can comment/reply/see thumbnails and read... basically anything not dependent on Flash. No video. Maybe a future update will enable Flash or we will need to wait for the Nintendo 3DS. Even then it's not guaranteed we'll secure Flash apps. >_>

After claiming the free thousand, you could download what Nintendo claimed "One Game Free".Don't let my (gamecheater) username deceive you; I wouldn't make a (points) purchase ahead of time and fool my YouTube audience.

@dnave21 Unfortunately yes. Keep in mind this was ~5 months' worth of updates I was downloading/installing. If you do it on a regular basis (let's say 2-4 months) it will take less than a minute.

you can play audio files if theyre AAC files BUT one problem u need a thing that transformx to AAC file like DVDVideosoft free studio then u can make AAC music to DSi
