  • Curry, I I got my C90! Next step is getting my Hard Krome Big Straights. Have a question for you. I really like the the Black HK Big Straights, will the sound be different than yours? Did you get a power commander to work with you new pipes?

  • Congrats on the C90, Coach. There might be a slight difference in the two HK products, but if they are just the black version of the 3" Big Straights, they'll sound about the same. As for the Power Commander, I recommend it, as it adjusts for the new bigger pipes you'll be installing. They are fully programmable, and you can buy yours with a preprogrammed map specifically for the C90 Boulevard. Or, you can download maps at the dynojet website. Let me know when you get the new pipes!

  • Hi Steve

Are you getting around 37-38 mpg with the HH's and Power Commander setup !

    Thanks !

  • Actually a bit better than that, I think. I took mine to a local Dynojet certified tuning center and had the settings tweaked a bit. I was getting some occasional popping on decel, so I wanted to make sure the settings were optimized. Even with the specific map installed, they can go in make adjustments to get the best performance.

  • Nice.

  • Sounds amazing! I'm looking at aftermarket pipes for a C50...and from what I have seen from comments here and elsewhere, the Power Commander is a definite requirement? Is that something that can be installed in the driveway?

  • A better fuel controller is one made by:

GMan industries, its called "the Bully" and is a plug and play controller, no maps to download and any adjustments are simple to do.

This "Bully" is the latest tech and far better than the cobra and power commander.

    Good luck.

  • HK Sounds way better bud!!!

  • Hey man, any chance you might shoot a longer video? Really trying to decide which exhaust to go with. I think its between the Cobra Longshots and the HK Big Straights. I'd like to hear it moving. Thanks man!

  • I ordered the Dynotech Power Commander USB for my C90, I found the map for HK 3" Big S as you indicated, I will purchase a 9v battery and USB cable to download the software. Thanks for your super advice

  • Thanks. The Dynojet Power Commander is what I installed, and I recommend it. You can download the map for whatever application you need, or they'll put one in when you order it. They actually have a map for a C90 with HK 3" big straights and factory air cleaner!
