An old Super 8 project by LACC Cinema 2 student Tomo Oshima, made back in Fall of 1998.
CINEMA 2 - BEGINNING SUPER-8 FILM WORKSHOP - DAY SECTION (Jonathan Kuntz)
CINEMA2 ASSIGNMENT
FILM PROJECT #2
THE PROJECT: The student is to shoot a meeting between two subjects and a chase scene. The chase, where one subject follows or chases the other, is to be the major portion of the film. A very simple chase of only a few shots will not get full credit. The project will include a storyboard to be submitted to the instructor. This film will require post-production editing. The soundtrack will be on an AUDIO CASSETTE TAPE.
The purpose of this project is to introduce overall continuity, including screen direction, eyeline, matching of action, and composition.
Lighting and plot are not emphasized in this project.
