BMW Concept Car. BMW has a habit of turning its concept cars into production realities, which means the stunning four-door, four-seat CS Grand Touring Sedan may already be creating sleepless nights for the competition. Although its exterior clearly exaggerates BMW's traditional styling language (oversized twin-kidney grille, 21-inch wheels, huge lower air intakes), the interior eschews what BMW calls "unnecessary opulence" in favor of highly focused luxury. That means leather and wood mixed with forward-looking features like iDrive, ceramic knobs and ambient lighting. Kelley Blue Book's Jack R. Nerad discusses the concept with BMW's Karim Habib at the 2008 New York Auto Show.

  • The greenhouse (or glasshouse) of a car comprises the windscreen, rear and side windows, the more or less vertical pillars separating them (designated A-pillar, B-pillar and so on, starting from the car's front), and the car's roof.
