Man, you just gave away my trade secrets.

No a heavy buffer is not needed. The lower in the video started life as a 80% forging. I originally tapped the buffer tube hole crooked. I retapped the hole straight but in doing so I removed too much material and the buffer tube was loose on the threads. I tried to JB Weld the buffer tube to the lower receiver but there were not enough threads to hold the buffer tube in during firing. All it did was break away the JB Weld.

Hate to say we told you so, but....
You need the .45 buffer from Hahn or from Slash off ARFCOM

well, you're lucky smgs are basically pipes with a chunck of metal. mods are easy than other guns!

Yeah but this is an AR15 conversion not just a SMG so mods are not easy nor cheap. Just turns out that this mag mod was very easy.

well it could be lack of friction with the reising mag, more force on the tube.. i dunno..

No. It's simply the fact I cut the threads for the buffer tube crooked. When I straightened the threads out, the threads weren't has strong and barely held the buffer tube. I JB Welded the threads but the force of shooting broke that weld.

what'd you do, duck tape the mag to the feeder and use chewing gum to hold the stock on?

That's my patented quick release butt stock.
