its funny how being glued to the t.v. puts you in a highly suggestable trance state and inundates you with fear and wacky fakery which plays a major roll in causing anxiety. then the scientifically crafted manipulative depression and anxiety medicine ad steps in to lovingly offer u a "solution".

HILLARIOUS , yo this shouldn't be a laughing matter! XD

Lighten up crybabies. He's making funny of a very strange commercial- not depression. Does he say people with mental disorders are losers? Of course we need better understanding of these issues in America, but what do you expect from people that only care about the outcome of American Idol? God, now I am depressed... maybe i need Pristiq, so i can wind up creepy dolls that look like me all day. I think it would have been even funnier if somehow it got blamed on President Bush.

OHH GODD i suffer from chronic depression, anxiety (social anxiety and OCD, and ADHD, i got a lot of issues i must say. but i find this commercial HILARIOUS still, even tho i have depression! its fucking youtube, quit being so SERIOUS. have a sense of humor

A commercial for defeatists with sob stories and bleeding hearts—for people too weak and incompetent to overcome their own self-crippling feelings. I do not fall under this category.
What's hilarious is that everyone' now seems there are no moral or ethical issues that can't be solved by claiming "I mean no offense." People do it now when they bash gay people, make obviously racist remarks, and joke about the Holocaust. It seems pointless to suggest that the alternative is to display some actual wit, because people make YouTube videos precisely because they're not capable of any form of humor beyond the kind of talking back to the TV you find in frat houses.

I find it grossly inappropriate to compare drug pushing companies to Holocaust victims. But I have the belief that humor is in the eye of the beholder. I am not a monster displaying ignominy to the depressed, I am simply castigating the commercial industry that mental illness has become. Depression , schizophrenia, and autism are not packaged items on a shelf with fast food, department stores, and singing underwear macots.

I'm glad, that everyone can make "light" of someone else's misfortune. I thought this "parody", was rather; tasteless, ignorant, and downright cruel. I happen to suffer from severe depression, and have all my life. However, what DIDN'T shock me, are peoples responses to this garbage. I guess, thats how our world works, if you can't "see it" it isn't a problem. When in reality, its a HUGE problem!!! So many people out there, are so ignorant, and misinformed. I truly feel sorry, for all of you....

Laughter is a good medicine to cure depression. The pills are for people who just have a mental disorder and get depressed if their toothbrush is the wrong color. A chemical imbalance. It's not that simple for people with real depression based on real things. That's why we use laughter. We also talk to the ones we love, as opposed to sharing our sob stories with strangers on YouTube.

The doll parody was funny. Antidepressnats do not make someone high, good if they did though! The diagram is trying to illustrate how neurotransmitters move from one brain (nerve) cell to the next. Not a great illustration of it though, doesn't look much like that at all. Anyhow, bring on the parody.
