Gold Coast, Australia, Travel Video Guide

The Gold Coast is one of Australia's most developed and commercial tourist locations. Once nothing more than sand fly invested swamp land, it is now highrise heaven, with a multitude of places tourist can stay.

From Hippy to High Society. I am keen to interview a lady from the Gold Coast's social set. Someone with all the trimmings of wealth. Infiltrating this scene may prove difficult for a scruffy struggling film maker, but I have a few leads and a bucket full of charm, so anything is possible.

I managed to organise an interview with editor of the Gold Coast Magazine, Jenni Purdy. If anyone knows the gossip on the Gold Coast Social set, Jenni does.

If I am filming in a public place, I tend to just film without asking people permission. But in the case of the meter maids and the the girls in bikini's, I did ask permission. It is amazing how things have changed in recent years, filming a beach scene now could get you arrested! So always best to tell people what you are filming for.

gold coast is a gr8 lifestyle!! u can go swimming all year round in winter the water temp is often warmer than the outside temp!! Its a relaxed lifestyle and really its a 72 klm resort!! fab places 2 eat and party or just lay back!! the choice is yours!! I been 2 many places round the world very few r as all encompassing as the gold coast!!
