@mred6554 I know what you mean, im not a weapon expert myself but i rember playing with this rifle that wieghed 40 pounds yet I was able to run around the damn place shooting it like some Nerf gun

A lot of these guns have been demilled over the years, and they can't hold up to the pressure of a full-power round when reactivated. Hence blanks.

@JohannWendt then your smart enough to know ptrds were not kitted out with scopes exept in some propparganda and their is only a select few that ought in ww1 suvive,infact none in the uk

@wolfenstien1000 WaW is pretty accurate as far as the history goes. trust me i have 11 PhDs and i was a soldier in WW1 and WW2.

this whole CoD shit is making me mad. dont get me wrong. its a sweet game but everyone that plays it thinks that they know all about guns now.. the history in the game is accurate but as far as the true ballistics when it comes to guns in that game.. the makers of it had no idea. either that or they had to tone down some firepower in the guns and up the power in others so you wouldnt be rapeing everyone.
all and all. the guns in the game dont match up to what they reall were.
