@Lunakiri Well it would sorta fit his relationship with Allen. The Earl tricked Allen and ever since then he was trying to kill him. Now since Allen is the host of the Fourteenth, the Earl actually and saved him. The Earl held the same point of view of this song towards Allen. Now since he has "seen the light" a.k.a. found out Allen is the host of the Fourteenth, he has changed his view towards Allen. So if you think about it, it sorta fits the Earl.
