I simply don't have the words to describe this song - everything that's good and everything that's not seems so come together in it, making it so.. worthwhile. I don't know. Such an amazing performance in its simplicity.

To me, this song is about resignation. Giving up your illusions, letting go of what you kept, giving into your demons. Kneeling down. Like running through the night. Drugged. Out of control, astray from life and sanity. It's about ending the war against the darkness. Letting the cops find you. Following them home.

i was listening to this when my mother came home and looked at the screen and asked me who is singing, i said mom its placebo, she was about to tell me something else but i shushed her and told her to please fucking listen.
we stood, staring at brian and listening, hugging each other. this was shot many years ago in a place very distant to us, yet we both felt like we were there in the crowd. musical experience at its best indeed.
