OCTOBER, 2011 UPDATE ON Watchman i.e. JOBE. Jobe has recently spent 5 weeks in Serpentine being trained by Jayne Lavender, an internationally recognised and in demand natural horsemanship and agility trainer. Jayne originally learnt natural horsemanship from Margaret River's Neil Innes who started Jobe as a 3yr old. Below is a copy of Jaynes recent email to me regarding her opinion of Jobe. Morning Susan, Jobe is a great kid, and I'm sure really missed his idyllic life with you in Dunsborough. 5 Acres with bossy adult males is entertaining but he does desire more space and less reprimand! As he is so playful, likes to irritate the older boys, they put him in his lowlier place often. Spoil-sports! I have worked with him a little every single day. I have played with him and ridden him, he is up for anything when I ask and support him.He will definitely make an awesome adult horse one day. JOBE'S HISTORY = My name is Susan and I own Jobe's mother, a thoroughbred. I imprinted Jobe at birth. Jobe's sire, a pure bred Arab named NARBEYDA, is well known for throwing quiet foals.Jobe has had all the right feed, handling, socializing and natural horsemanship training from his conception and birth. He was started at 3yrs old by Neil Innes of Margaret River and recently had further training from Andrew Clark of Margaret River also. Jobe has beach and trail riding experience, having completed two 3 day treks with the W.A Horse Trekkers Club. He is able to be ridden on a relaxed, long rein.Jobe is now like a perfect blank canvas on which you may paint your chosen award winning masterpiece. He is very sound with good feet and will be an outstanding horse in most disciplines, particularly eventing, dressage, show jumping and endurance. Jobe is very smart, quick to learn, inquisitive, responsive and friendly. He rarely shys and is amazingly quiet in traffic and most circumstances for his age. He is very easy to catch,excellent with a farrier, ties up without pulling back, stands quietly whilst being saddled and rugged, leads well and is generally a well mannered horse although he may try to dominate you during his feed time. Jobe's looks are striking now and will defineately become more stunning as he ages and develops more muscle. This is a very reluctant sale from my perspective and is only occuring because my circumstances have changed and I am no longer able to give Job the time he deserves.
