Simmons made the same point in his book. He is one of the few to have championships as a player and as a coach in the NBA (Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, KC, Cunningham, Wilkens, Larry Costello and Alex Hannum are all of them I think)

Jones is a nice guy. But look at his stats, he is not hall of fame worthy.
