unfortunately the US has to live up to its name as the "the best country in the world" and "land of the free" therefore allowing the site to be built. Muslims should however know better, there is still a sore because of what happened 9 years ago. If it is built there is no doubt that it will be in some way vandalized, damaged, protested outside of, etc- completely eliminating any message of peace and unity that is trying to be attained.
@everythingeco Is making them hypocrite because they cry wolf whenever points their trespasses, they cry, they whine, they use the race card; Yet, they fail to see and acknowledge the pain that all these people suffer when radical Islamics carried out the attacks under Jihad. Not one of them in these country demonstrated with candles, prayers, flyers, nor any sign to announce their condolences to the rest of the country.
I can't argue with you here I can however stand on my point that generalizing the second largest religious group in the world is...well....retarded. This is America, we don't do that. It goes against everything we stand for. If you want to start creating a group of second class citizens based on religion, that's your choice. Just be aware of what you're doing.
@sillydillydokieo I never said he "can't" do anything. Let's try to stay in context. You're making shit up to prove your point, I would suspect you're republican. I don't care who burns what, I do however care about the appropriateness and implications it can have.
@sillydillydokieo I agree because we HAVE been appeasing the Muslims for some time now here in America. We even now have a President endorsed by HAMAS for God's sake and was suppose to make the WORLD stop hating us.
@everythingeco you are fucking retarded! timothy mcveigh didn't blow up a building in the name of christianity, he just happened to be christian (which is debatable). 9/11 was solely motivated by islam ,taken in the most literal context. therefore, islam is 100% the cause of 9/11. and the fact that the people who take the koran the most literally, are the ones to do such acts, really speaks volumes as to what islam is really about.
@everythingeco so, now you're the one who can tell everyone what they can and can't do? you're not okay with people telling muslims where they shouldn't build a mosque, but you're okay with telling people they're not allowed to burn a book? all in the name of freedom? wow, dude. you're seriously retarded.

Has that happened, even with Muslims?
HELL NO!
They are going to hate us no matter WHAT we do!
