  • At the airport it was clocked at 128 kilometers per hour. Across the lake there was no wind. So Granpaa, Can you tell me what the gusts were at my house????

Wind can gain or lose pressure by the lay of the land. The wind came out of Morfee valley, it is uphill from the lake to my house, the noted strongest point if wind pressure. Figure it out Granpaa.

  • Haha i remeber that! THAT WAS FUN! lol i like it when its windy out. The road to Ganahz was constantly having trees fall on it. The district had to go along the road and clear them. My friend was driving there and she almost had a tree fall on her.

  • i got to get outa early schoolbut the aron pritchet concert got cancelled i was mad

  • Awesome. Bad, but awesome. I was working that day and missed seeing it all happen. Just had to drive through the craziness (out around gantahaz due to the accident) at 5:30 in the morning, pitch black, trees all over the road......

Agree on wind speed too. Depending on topography wind can be funneled and pick up a lot of speed.

  • The gusts were over 100 Kilometers per hour and not 100 MPH

  • wow I use to live in Mackenzie and that is a wicked storm. Looks like Crooked River Cres area.

  • That was crazy yesterday!

  • Awesome footage, the roar was incredible! I'm from Seattle, WA so we just had a pretty good storm come through wit 200,000 losing power and gusts to 111mph up in the passes...might have been the same system if this just happened. Anyways, thanks for the video!
