Ingredients :
2 cups Plain Flour
4 teaspoons Cream of Tartar
2 Tablespooons cooking oil
1 cup Salt
2 cups Boiling water
Food dye

Method:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix, and allow to cool...

Add dye either before or after mixing...

Keep in an airtight container to prolong life.

Mine kept for several weeks, before becoming crystalline.

  • @CristineBabbi No, not baking soda, but someone recently told me that you can substitute baking powder, as that contains cream of tartar. Hope that helps! ^_^

  • @immqt3 Cream of Tartar, is sometimes called Tartaric Acid, you can usually find it in the area of your supermarket, or grocery store, that stocks baking goods such as flour, and spices. ^_^
