why do i get the impression that this is totally NOT him....oh yeah CAUSE ITS NOT!!! I doubt he has that bad of a pole drop and look where his right hand is! Ive coached freshman who dont have it that far back lol

I'm reading an article about him right now. It gives this moment a mention, it says:
'But Hooker's career in pole vaulting started slowly. Grainy Youtube footage of him slamming the pole into his crotch on a jump-gone-wrong in 2003 is proof that he has not always been a world-beater.
It's Also a reminder of how dangerous this sport can be. One of his kidneys failed several days that accident and he wound up in hospital'.
It is him.
Still, Steve Hooker is now a sporting superstar!!
