Erie Hall of Fame 2009 Inductee: Archbishop John Mark Gannon (1877-1968)

John Mark Gannon was called by God to combat injustice and to rebuild the foundation of social welfare in our community and abroad, opening the door for millions who otherwise would have no access to quality education, medical care or, in many cases, a welcoming religious community or even a home.
