@GeoffJennyOliver No that is not true I have rescued them for 5 years they will not have not cannot be domesticated they ALL eventually attack at some point its instinct ESPECIALLY if you know there defensive spots that make nature kick in and more dangerously i you DONT know . your post is most irresponsible , it's also illegal to keep them as pets in Australia contrary to popular belief! Ask D.E.C.

@stormspinner1 The males are also called -'buck' or 'old man' and the females are - 'doe' or 'flyer'. Good to hear from you again Karla.

@canadianentropy Like many other animals its about how accustomed they are to the situation. In the wild they are basically inapproachable, but where they mix with humans ( like around Merimbula) they will act pretty much like a domestic pet.
