part of the reason for the double release was that they fulfilled his contract with Columbia/Sony. He negotiated a much better deal after these were released.

You could see Bruce's energy level wasn't as big as when he played with E Street, but still he managed to take a mediocre song and energize it to new heights in concerts

@RockGod815 I agree - one of the great things about Bruce is how he tries different things and how his band (or lack of band with Nebraska and other albums) drives the way he goes. "Change is the only constant" :)
