  • That would be great. I've got his 3cd anthology. Any idea on how many of those tracks were performed on his tv show? I like his duet with Margaret MacLaren on "Mockingbird" but you only get the version with Del Juliana. The two songs I mention are the ones I'd like to see the videos to the most. You got them?

P.S. is "NZOZ" channel stuff that one or more people upload to? I'd like to make some suggestions for other songs, and PM the guy who uploads the most. NZOZ has the best quality videos.

  • it's just a one man work, so far... feel free to contact me.

  • Question...I'm a big fan of JOK's "Hey girl"...any chance of getting that posted up? Not sure if there is a video for that, but even a cd version of that would be good.

I do have other suggestions...any chance of the uploader sending me a PM so I can mention a few?

Anyway, I love this song. Good work.

  • all JOK footage material I have will eventually be posted on youtube...

  • Met Johnny at Leichhardt Police bos club when I was 12. He was setting up for the dance that night,my mate &i just stood there staring at him till he told us to come up no the small stage. After talking to us for about 20 minutes he sung WILD ONE for us,he didn't have to but he did, to 2 young boys he was the greatest and still is.

  • fuckin madman

  • I still have my father's 45rpm vinyl record that I grew up listening to in the 60s.

  • @nthqlndr ??? i'm confused with your comment, brian henderson is nowhere to be seen in any part of this clip.

  • I loved his TV show. It was my only favourite musical show.

  • I meet Johnny at Inverell. I did the sound for his concert in the local hall. Was working for the local radios station 2NZ at the time. He handed my a fist full of money when it was all over. The most money I had ever seen as a teenager. I remember after the show we went to the local hamburger bar for some food cira 1959. I always remember he had such a lot of energy and a big voice.

  • Love O'Keefe but, Brian Henderson???? On this clip? Now there's a piece of true Australian Rock 'n' roll history. Thanks for this.
