This is my 6th Toastmasters Speech. I love NLP and Richard Bandler, so I thought I would write a story about a fake guy which the point of the story is really to get the audience to start out feeling normal or afraid and end up feeling amazing.
I would love to hear what you think of it.

Big Jake story was good up to some point but then it went all the way down. So know this in your head: NLP for bad boys and bad girls.

Don't use that stuff NLP it is really sad, it is for people who are sick and seek treatment at the wrong places especially with studies that they know only little about and that they think it's cool to use this word here like this and speak it like that, that loud and all that. Bullshit. It is just mimicking a mentally healthy person, so can successfully pretend you are one... Leave that NLP stuff out of your life and you'll see how healthy you will be ;-) And the big Jake story was good up to

And you think that using hypnosis can help you overcome your fear of rejection and that you can feel anyway you want? Not a chance. Reading the comment below I realize NLP is some sad study on how to talk hypnotically. Unless you go out and do things no hypnosis can help you overcome anything really. And mind me if you want to get hypnotized you have to allow someone to do it and be his or her bitch i.e. admit that they changed your life for the rest of your life. Just tell them to fuck off....

Just stumbled upon your speech whilst doing a general search. I am surprised no one has commented on how wonderfully you have used metaphors, all key modalities, association and dissociation, hypnotic phrases in an Ericssonian style. Excellent. The last bit on anchoring seemed a bit disjoint though...felt out of place as you started asking the audience to participate....maybe it could have been done a bit more subtly? Keep it up....all in all a wonderful use of NLP!
