"Roundabout" by Yes
Year: 1971
Album: Fragile

Lyrics:

I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out an' out
You spend the day your way
Call it morning driving
Through the south
In an' out the valley

The music, dance and sing
They make the children really ring
I spend the day your way
Call it morning driving
Through the south
In an' out the valley

In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky
And they stand there
One mile over we'll be there
And we'll see you
Ten true summers we'll be back
And laughing too
Twenty four before my love
You'll see, I'll be there with you

I will remember you
Your silhouette will charge the view
Of distant atmosphere
Call it morning driving
Through the south
Even in the valley

In and around the lake, woh
Mountains come out of the sky
And they stand there
One mile over we'll be there
And we'll see you
Come again
Ten true summers we'll be back
And laughing too, oh, oh
Twenty four before my love
You'll see I'll be there with you

Along the drifting cloud
The eagle searching down on the land
Catching the swirling wind
The sailor sees the rim of the land
The eagles dancing wings
Create as weather spins out of hand

Go closer hold the land
Feel partly no more than grains of sand
We stand to lose all time
A thousand answers by in our hand
Next to your deeper fears
We stand surrounded by a million years

I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out an' out
I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out an' out

In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky
And they stand there
Twenty four before my love
I'll be there
(Feels like)

I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out an' out
You spend the day your way
Call it morning driving
Through the south
In and out the valley

In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky
And they stand there
One mile over we'll be there
And we'll see you
Ten true summers we'll be back
And laughing too
Twenty four before my love
You'll see I'll be there with you

There with you na, na, na
There with you na, na, na
There with you na, na, na
There with you na, na, na
There with you na, na, na
There with you na, na, na
There with you na, na, na
There with you na, na

You're telling me Japanese culture isn't "real" culture? Are you being serious? That's hilarious. You're a moron. Like, honestly. You must not be very intelligent. I hope you ren't being serious.

I love JoJo, but if that's seriously the first place you heard this song, I'm going to be a little depressed and start looking for gray hairs.

The sharp guitar work that blends with the organ and drums makes this track truly unforgettable. A true classic of its day.

'Yes' were unique in their style: they never based their stuff on any other band. All these years later, still sounds just as crisp and invigorating as it always did: timeless.

Yes! I know just what you mean! It has a certain 'driving, synchronised power' feel to it. I used to play it at full volume when doing silly speeds on the motorway in my Cosworth many years ago. Such happy days! 'Yes' were - and still are - one of my all-time favourite bands.

i'm 14 and i Went to a Yes concert with my dad yesterday in brasília, Brazil.

that was the last song on the setlist, it was such a great experience that i can't describe it with Words, just: Excellent.

Jon Davison Voice is amazing and Geoff Dawnes goes crazy at the synths.

    SUPERB.
