I am 58, and have been listening to this song since the White Album came out, and I just heard the correct lyric of "arise" ....not "arrive" like I always thought it was!
VERY nice cover by the way. Thank you for teaching this old dog a new trick.

Loved your video Pat and I like the way you invest in sound quality, nice and well done. I'm not just blowing smoke up your a** for nothing, I also wondered if you'd make a Tutorial Video for Blackbird? if wou;ld be really cool and I bet you get loads of plays from Wannabe Guitar players like me. Crackin Video though whatever you do. Best, Richard, UK

@PatDanNoonan Oh shit.

The ONLY thing that I could find wrong with this cover is that the bass notes played while going up the neck need to be held out longer. It seems like your switching is cutting them off to where they sound more staccato than legato.
Excellent cover though! One of the best on YouTube

Quit Autotune dude, please...

@chichou667 Auto-Tune is software by Antares that I don't have, if anything I'd rather have Melodyne since it let's you create melodies from spoken words. My guess is you meant to say "Quit using pitch correction" but I didn't. See the multiple mics being used? If I pitch correct the vocal mic, it would then clash with the uncorrected vocal bleed in the guitar mics which would sound terrible. But you'd already know that If you knew half as much about mixing as you do about flying toy planes

sounds great dude......BTW, what exactly model is that Taylor you have? (can't find it).
(same guitar that T-Bone uses {hall & oates} in the band)

@rusty1114 Hey to be honest I'm not 100% sure, I had to give the guitar back to its rightful owner since I made this video but next time I see him I'll ask for the specifics. I do know that it came from the original line of jumbo body acoustics Taylor made, it played so sweetly.

@182fisher Hey so here's the signal chain break down: Had 4 mics set up altogether, all running directly into a Saffire 56 interface. The 8 input Saffire 56 has 2 "liquid channels" that have 10 presets to emulate some high end preamp models, which I ran the SM81 (pointed at the 12th fret off axis) and the KSM32 (pointed at the soundhole off axis) set to the API 3124+ setting. Also I had the SM58 (for the vocal) and an off camera room mic (which I ended up scrapping) running into the Saffire 56.
