i'm playing at 2560x1600

dx9 always perform better than dx10 & 11. You just get extra clouds on dx10...

like fear combat, i got 140~200fps at 2560x1600 max details with 4xAA 16xAF.

I play in windows 7, dx9 compatibility mode and get 39fps...drastic change don't you think?

why?

16x AA is useless for 30inch monitors. since the pixels are already small.

i don't see any difference between 4x & 8x AA with my monitor.

According to xbitlabs, GTX 295 gets 14fps 4x FSAA and 16x AF.

at 4.22ghz, when i use ripbot264 (100% cpu usage) the CPU stays cool at 60~62C degree

I failed to OC further than 4.22ghz.

I think my PSU @ 650W is not enough to juice the E8500 further than 4.22ghz; GTX 295, 4ghz DDR 1066mhz RAM, 3x1tb WD green HD, 300gb 10k rpm veliciraptor, creative faltal1ty sound card. I think I have to upgrade my PSU to 850W and try some GPU OC.
