Ahmedabad Mega city, dangerous truth of Mega city part 1

Ganeshnagar, a locality of evicted of people for urbanization of Ahmedabad City to Mega City.
Ganeshnagar is located on the outskirts of southem boarder near the waste dumping site of Ahmedabad City. The area is a part of industrial area and near to sewerage turatment plant and not suitable for residential purpose.
Facilities of road, drainage, sanitation, light, school, health center and livelihood means become for these people. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation promised to provide permanent residential houses in one and half year, but after the end of tow years they are still struggling for primary school, potable and clean bathrooms and toilets and medical van in the area. Approximate 2000 families are living here, came from various areas of Ahmedabad City and more will come. In the plot of 12 x 15 ft. they are living with all odds and in the hope of better house.
The situation affects immediately to the live of women and children. At present around 500 children are dropped out from schools and 20 % of them going for labors work.
We are appealing to spare some time and little part of your life especially for these children and women to assist them for their better future.

when any city develops it takes toll of many old structures wether they are legal or illegal, i think it's a bit on the luck side. my own land was taken by the govt under the TP scheme. it causes lot of pain but we need to sacrifice as we do not have any option. however it becomes unbearable when such property is given to private builders subsequently. just think that at the time of sepration in 1947 millions of people were left homeless and jobless, than you may feel your pain very less.

dude clear ur basics..first of all ahmedabad is nt a metro city..its just a mega city and there is a huge diffrence between mega and a metro city..and such encroachments wud b demolished even in a rural area..so instead of cursing d government nd al..lets b a part of d development..nd if u realy hav a soft corner for these poor people thn help them get employment instead of makin such videos.
